That was wicked!
I'm sure the caterham would have gone even faster if they'd have taken the roof off.

As if you'd pay £40,000 for that caterham... Its fast, but money could be spent better elsewhere !
Only drive as fast as your angel can fly... !

Here we go, the Caterham is a 32k CSR not the 40k CSR superlight so not even the top of the Caterham tree.
Just in a straight line at last years1/4 mile day a bog standard CSR260 drive up from london and beat a 300 hp vx westy and a megabird, plus
everything else bar a GSX1100 powered gokart.
Imagine how much bigger the gap would have been if it had been dry, you get what you pay for. (still a bit embarrassing about the hood coming off
)

It'll turn up on youtube if it's not already there
It would have been far faster if they got rid of that windbreak of a windscreen too!

Yeah, i have to admit, i was a bit odd that she was doing 120(?) with the ruddy wet weather gear flailing all over the place looking a right mess.
- Still, rather have that than the Exige.

1/4 mile could have been down to driver, tyres, gearing etc.
300bhp VX actually being about 250bhp
etc.
Still think you pay a lot for the badge and "heritage" tax with a Caterham.

Cheers for the link, I'd missed the first minute of the clip.
Ok I stand corrected, it was a 40k superlightwith a full screen).
A s for the 1/4 mile the westies were running R888 tyres and uprated BGH gearboxes. the VX car was prepped by the Vauxshop in Witney so should be
close to the 300hp mark, the Cat was on standard tyres and a Cat 6 speed box. I think the times are more down the amount of time and money Caterham
have to develop a product.

Nice vid. I enjoyed watching that. So she lost some teeth but was having bug fun, was she trying to say it was like driving a large vibrator?
