Wearing Glasses
I where glasses and each time I have been in a seven type car I can see nowt as they jiggle around
Even with a helmet on glasses are not ideal. I have disposable contact lenses but dont want to have keep swapping everytime I want to go for a drive
(which will hopefully be soon)
What are peoples thoughts and solutions

How about some ski type goggles that fit OVER your glasses?

prescription inserts for oakley m frames? i think the new model that's replaced the m frame is the radar.
mine never move around, and only vibrate a bit as you get above 80ish which really is helmet teritory.
think you can also get them for BLOC sunglasses.

On a serious note, I used to wear glasses, changed to daily disposable contact lenses 15 years ago and haven't looked back!
Mind you, thinking about it now, all the money I've spent on the damn things, I could have got my eyes lasered!

Oakley MX googles for glass wearers*, about £ 20 on the bay of e.
* specialy shaped to allowfor the arms
and offer more protection than glass lenses too should a stone get thrwon up by the car in front.

What about an elasticated glasses strap?
I wear one when I go running. All costs about £3 and seems to work well.

I also wear glasses and have Oakley M frame prescription sports sunglasses as well that I use for cycling. But even on the bike above 30 mph the wind
gets behind and tears start flowing out my eyes...
I think the only realistic options are MX fullframe goggles or a helmet. I definitely will get a helmet. More security and surely no wind hindrance.

I know quite a few bikers that still insist on wearing glasses and if you get a helmet that fits you properly your glasses will not move about at
all...

We've got some funky ski glasses that take a prescription lens and can swap between regular arms and an elasticated head band too. Afraid that
they're not on the site but I'll post a picture here:
They'd cost a ton with regular anti-reflection lenses (i.e. not multi-focal lenses). For use in a car I'd recommend polycarbonate lenses
(they'll stop stones penetrating) and if you mention this site we'll throw them in for free.

I've got some goggles off ebay which have a bit of extra room so you can wear glasses underneath. Sometimes pinches a bit on the nose where the
goggles go over the bridge of the glasses though

You can get diving goggles that have prescription lenses. Not cheap though.
As said above, cheap full face helmet seems to work. I got mine from Lidl for £20.

I have a windscreen and don't wear glasses for driving, but definitely feel the need for safety specs in spite of the windscreen. I took a
pebble to the forehead last time I was out - would not like to have caught it in an eyeball!

Bumblebees and hornets are a hazard where I live - they make me jump when they hit my visor! There's a VERY loud bang...
Imagine the pain without face protection...
