SVA, gaitor for shocks?

Hi, is there a particular gaitor that people have used to fit over the top and bottom of Protech shocks for SVA?

thanks,
Steven.

Just use a piece of leatherette, held on by cable ties. The SVA man liked it.

I tried that one.....the SVA man DID NOT like it!

He told me he wanted to see a proper gaiter, "like what Ford would use on a real car"...

I intend to use a CV boot....(New and shiny)...

I used self amalgamating loom tape on all sharp bits on the front of my car and SVA man at Nottingham was perfectly happy. Put two or three layers on, get nice radiuses and it wont fall off accidently.

I used Strips of rubber or bits of an old car inner tube, first stuck this to the top or botom of the shock with evo stick. When this had dried for a day i then wrapped the rest round the shock and later allowing the same gule to go off, stuck the rubber to the previous layer and taped over with insulaion tape for a couple of days. the sva man was happy with this, shame about other bits. I hope there will be no marks when they fall off later.
