Nice weekend for it!
For the first time this year (I think) I have been out for 2 consecutive weekend days in the Locost...
Yesterday's trip was to visit Paul (907), which is via a really enjoyable bit of Suffolk's roads. Sat around in his back garden getting
nicely toasted in the sunshine.
This morning I went out for a nice (but cold) 1.5 hour run with the missus - I love cold & clear Autumn mornings for a drive! Just bumbling along
looking at the scenery - very nice.
I'll now get a load of hate mail from all the folks who haven't yet finished their build!

Just been from Kent to Newcastle and back (up yesterday, back today) to take number 1 son for his first year at uni. Great weather for long journey by
tintop, but would have been much better to have been out in the seven

DONT let that anger spill out of your right foot when you do get to drive it for the first time.
Spend time learnig how your car drives, and handles.
LAST thing you need is a rebuild and a broken leg to slow it down.
This time of year and certainly in a couple of months, the damper and greasier roads, the falling leaves (Oo'er wrong leaves on the road
syndrome)
Just take it steady... several people on this forum have come a cropper in their newly built cars, just by NOT taking it EASY.
Have fun, enjoy yourself, but above all be Safe.

I did over 100 miles on Saturday in the Viento. That made it an expensive wing mirror that I bought in Peterborough.
It started with a "nip into town" (Cambridge) then "the long way home" (via Ely) then Oh Bugger... lets go to Peterborough
via the back roads.
On the way, for about 10 miles, I was following a Subaru WRX, and he was following a BMW Z3 with the roof down.
No racing or loony bits... just three nice cars out for a nice drive. Just how it should be.
Absolutely great drive out. But was getting cold by the time I got home... some 5 1/2 hours later.
The Missus wasnt too impressed!!
