well im going to start cleaning up the engine bay on the indy but i am going to start by getting the exhaust tidied up, its gone a bit disoloured with some blue, brown non shiney patches, anyone got any tips for cleaning this up?
Get it chromed
I'm guessing it's stainless? in which case, I needed welding discolouration removing from some stainless tubes at work recently and was introduced by the lads in the factory to Klingspore universal cleaner pads - worked an absolute treat with very little effort!
^^ DB can you be more specific on the Klingspor pads please i.e type, grade etc.
Just looked at their website and they offer a vast range.

As I recall I bought several of these:
Klingspor Linky
I'll try and remember what grade I bought....
I may be wrong but have it in my mind that you can spend several hours polishing a stainless exhaust until it is very smart indeed to find it discolours again on the first drive out. Can and tailpipe should stay bright for a while though. Would be fairly easy to take them off and polish up properly on buffing wheel.
