trailer size

Hi, not at home to measure up at the mo, but what is the minimum size bed (flat bed style) on a trailer to suit a kit car? Just searching ebay and found one near me with a 16x5' bed. Sounds far too long to me? Thanks

Length not really too important, anything 11ft up will suit a 7, width is an issue though, and
5ft is not enough. 6ft ish is common, 6ft -5ins + is better.

Sorry, missed the flat bed bit, 5ft would be ok, although most flat bed trailers are a wheels under design, which makes for a higher bed, typically 24", makes loading a pain unless you have a beaver tail bed, extra long ramps or a tilt bed.

Mines 11' x 6'6" and just comfortably takes the fury. 10'10" x 5'5" body, 5'3" rear track, 7'2" wheelbase.
