Well maybe its just me, but I dont see the "U2U" notification so easily. For days usually.
It could do with some lights and bells on it methinks

or maybe just a quick look there when you log on?

see, thing is, if everyone made a new thread everytime they sent someone a u2u, then the front page will be full of those topics, and all the ones useful to everyone (rather than 1 person, in this case, alex) will be pushed off the front page.
