Hi guys and gals,
I'm now the proud owner of a 2.3 Volvo T5 turbo engine. (F.O.C as well).
I'm basically at the moment looking into various areas that I need to resolve with regard to
actually taking the plunge and fitting the beast.
Has anybody any knowledge or guidance with fitting the T5 into a kit? I've got a Zero and there's
plenty of space etc (he hopes).
Research suggests I get hold of a box from a Volvo 960? ?
Not sure whether to use the box or make its bellhosing fit my existing box??
I have no management with it.... Would it be easier to utilise a standard Volvo ECU or go the
aftermarket route, Megasquirt, Omex etc?? Or would this be silly money with it being a 5 pot?
The engineering / fabrication side of it isn't a problem, its what I do for a living, so I suppose what
I'm really after is your opinions and knowledge before I jump in.
The exhaust, intercooler, cooling etc should be simple enough, albeit I reckon a bit of a snug fit!

Only one I can think of is "matt_claydon" you will need the volvo ecu and as for gearbox the m90 for the white block is ultra rare and not mega strong. I think his is a bmw box and adapter.
