Hi all been away for a few year for various reasons working abroad and buying a house my tiger cat has been sat in my parents garage for the last 5 years not turned a wheel since I parked it. I’m finally in a position to bring it round to my new house, obviously it hasn’t got an mot so will need to be traileed round some how, any advice for getting it back on the road, I know all fluids will be renued but apart from that?
Nah just fire it up and give it some beans!

New battery, cambelt, fluids and check brakes are free. Good luck
As nickp said plus your may need new tyres aswell
I would be checking, and probably renewing all brake line rubbers if I had ANY doubt about them. Brake fluid change as a minimum.
Fresh fuel
New tyres are a given.
Bit of oil down(maybe oil/diesel) the bores and leave to soak for a day or 2 and spin engine over with plugs out
This is in addition to above.....
If the garage is damp could be looking at new brake discs.
Was handbrake left on?if so and it's got drums on the rear expect them to be stuck on.
Get it ready for the MOT at your parents house, take all the advice above, then book the MOT, drive it there, then drive it home afterwards, save the
trailer faff 
(As it sounded as though you don't have one)
Plugs out, oil down the bores, and turn it over with a spanner on the crank pulley bolt.
Jack up and spin the wheels by hand. Apply the brake, then spin again.

A full service, brake check and new tyres should have it back to life for you.
As above if you book an MoT you can drive it there from your parents and then home to yours. Worth having someone follow you in a 2nd car in case it
breaks down though.
Check for perished fuel hoses.
Really want to get it round here they only live 2 - 3 miles away their garage is full of junk and my dad has managed to cram stuff round it over the
years getting it out will be fun let alone working one it round there was hard enough when the garage was empty it will defiantly need new tyres the
car was build in 2008 and only done 900 miles shame really they still looks brand new but feet hard and perished and I want to go over everything with
a fine tooth comb before I drive the thing again

I dragged one of my kits out of storage where it had been sitting for close to 15 years, fitted a new battery, put a bit of fresh fuel on top of whatever was in the tank and took it on a trackday.....the alternator drive belt gave up after half an hour but as soon as that was replaced, it was fine for the rest of the day. That was 10 years ago and I pushed it back into it's barn and that's where it is now....

Also there's a fair chance the clutch might be stuck..
Good old 1300 Magenta, father built a yellow one in the 70,s which was collect and brought back from the factory to Berkshire on the roof of a Vauxhall Victor estate. I leant to drive in it and many years later brought the London to Sydney Rally Magenta.
This thread rapidly went from it'll be fine, just fire it up, to a full tear down!
