for those that have foam seats or seats that water could damage. One answer I have found is

Bin bags in wheelie bin size ! in my experience normal bin bags are just too small.

the wheelie bin size cover my intatrim odesey seats perfectly. Have not managed to keep them on while driving but most of that goes over the top.

these are great for storing behind your seats and can be used in an emergency for protecting from rain / or while you are washing polishing your car not often in my case .

Just though it may help others.

I have cloth covered foam seats in mine, and I've found that the foam takes about 2 weeks to dry out properly after a severe downpour, so I took the seats apart (in South of France) and put the foam bit inside a big bin bag then re-covered the seats. Now the cover dries out in about 3 hours on a good day - the foam never gets wet.
