I've just extended my steering column as I decided I couldn't extend my arms and luckily the wiring was able to accommodate it, just. If I had thought about it I would have left a loop of wiring inside the dash for this reason and if I need any more adjustment it would be available later. If you haven't made your loom yet, leave a bit to spare.
