Looking to change away from sky tv as we watch very little but pay alot. Heard about the streaming boxes. Want to stream sports mainly and spotify to start with. Anyone had any experience with these devices and have some advice for a novice.

I got an Amazon Fire TV stick on offer for £19 because I'm a prime member. Installed KODI for free movies, tv shows and live TV. Works like a charm

Ive got one of these with Kodi 15.0 installed.

Im currently watching Pakistan V Sri Lanka that you wont see anywhere in GB... Every Saturday you can watch whatever football game you want.

Quality can be pants in most channels and never as good as sky HD, however it cost nothing so you takes your choice.. you can spend hours going round trying to find a sports channel that works mind.

Plenty of up to date films and series on Showbox and I use Mobdro as well..

I still have the basic sky but am thinking of ditching it completely and going to BT. I have BT fibre so its a lot cheaper..

Only thing we like with the sky box is the sky plus and ease of use..

Been meaning to get one of these for ages though. I went for the one that Coozer mentioned 'the M8S' with S812 processor. Best deal I could find was £40 on ebay. eBay Item
Hopefully it is actually sent from the UK (like it states) and not China.
