Anyone now how to do this or where to find some paint to do the job. Can't find any good links on google.
The paint/gold lettering has gone a bit flaky and just needs cleaning up and re-doing but can't find any gold stone paint anywhere.
Any help is much appreciated

Try asking at an arts/crafts store about gold leaf. It would be more durable than paint, and not expensive.

I think gold leaf is the medium usually used for stone work........

Grave stone manufacturers might sell the appropriate stuff or offer such a service.

It's usually gold leaf and its fitted with a glue type material called size (though it might be spelt differently). It's relatively easy to do but you'll need to do it on a calm day- the gold leaf stuff is so thin it'll blow away when you're trying to brush it on with even a small breeze...

You should get gold leaf from an art shop and fix it with polyurethane varnish.

You can get size (clear or tinted) at signwriting suppliers.
The size is put on with a sable brush and left till tacky then gold leaf pressed on.
Best leaf to use is transfer gold (wont blow away in wind)
But to be honest if your not artistic or a signwriter i'd leave it to an expert!
