Brake fittings
Hi - I am re-doing the brake lines on my Fury as they take a pretty "special" hand bent route to the rear drums!
It's a 3/16th system I believe and I've bought some pipe benders to make the job look a lot neater.
It's a Mk2 Escort system with rear 8 or 9" drums (one feed is split for the rear drums from the master drum unit).
Photos are on my sparse blog but also here!

Could anyone clarify what size these unions might be and the best place to buy them cheaply?
Thanks all
Michael

The drums will be m10x1
And you can get a bag full on ebay for a few quid.

just been renewing some brake pipes today.
my master cylinder ones where the same as the wheel cylinders, m10.
my setup at the drum was like yours with one side fed from the other and only one bleed nipple, but now i've fitted a three way connector to the
axle and fed both sides separately.
i used the long unions, i don't think it matters as long as they are not to short

May be wrong, but wouldn't a Mk2 Escort be pre metric? Cheers Ray
To make a car go faster, just add lightness. Colin Chapman - OR - fit a bigger engine. Chippy
