Superlite shim help needed?
I have had my Megabusa now for a month or so, I decided on Saturday to take up to Knockhill open pit lane for a buzz around the track. Once the brakes
warmed up the offside calliper started to freeze (not coming on) causing some fairly hard pulling to the left.
In the pits I removed the pads and found some stuff behind the pads I have never seen before. It was sort of melted in place and was hampering the
action of the calliper I think? I removed the stuff and the brakes returned to normal operation and I completed the track day after testing the brakes
around the car park first (when no one was in the way).
  Brake Shims
Can anyone tell me what this stuff is and why it is there?
Should there be anything there?
A type of anti squeal shims?

Yep - looks like EBC anti-rattle sheet. Is a 3M Product. Try EBC perhaps at the factory.
