Hi guys
Going up to bogg bros in the morning. i have a set 2005 r6 carbs ( 2005 they changed to 38mm chokes). question is they are from an injected model. Have i dropped a dangly thing and bought the wrong ones?

Do they have a choke ? , float chamber? if so they are carbs if they have injectors in each with an electrical connection probably 2 pins connected by a common fuel rail they are throttle bodies

They are throttle bodies and ideal if you're going down the injection route....

If you want carbs, I think there may be somebody on here who may be interested in buying your throttle bodies off you.

As above - they are throttle bodies and in 2005 went up to a 40mm choke from 38mm.

Have you bought all the other bits for a carb setup yet?? Personally i'd stick with the TB's and get a MegaSquirt n Spark to run them. I'm sure you could sell them easy enough through here though if you really want to stick with carbs - would that cause a problem with you going to Boggs tomorrow though as i assume you were getting them rejetted there??
