Whats the difference between these?
Looking at boost controllers (I'm not going mad,just running 6psi at the mo and will be safe to go 10-12) ,the cheapo gate type,I've found
2, one which can be twiddled with inside the car,and one from under the bonnet.Obviously it'd be better with one inside the car that I could
adjust while actually on boost and watching the gauge but whats the difference apart from about £40?! Am I missing something or could I not just plumb
the "under bonnet" one up into the car?

Cancel that,just worked out its the vent venting into the cabin,not really an issue for me lol

You want the contoller to be as close to the turbo and waste gate as possible. An ordinary mechanical boost controller works OK but if you want to do
it properly get an electonic boost controller with a solonoid that you can position with as short a pipes as possible.
I use a Blitz DSBC but most of this type are very good.

An electronic controller will allow you to speed up the spool time and give you more torque at lower revs even on the same boost! This is because you
can keep the waste gate shut for longer. (Normally they start to open at about half the actuators rated pressure)!
