Leaking Wheel Bearing Fix
Bearing seal looks fine
[img][/img]
Removed seal spring - no tension at all
[img][/img]
Look for the joint in the spring & twist undone
[img][/img]
Cut down the spring

Check spring size - refit - hopefully fix leak

Refit with Hylomar - bearing & retaining plate

I've just replaced my rear bearing because of a failed seal - this has got to be worth a try!

I stood there looking at a new bearing with less than 200 mile on it,
Just could'nt see anything wrong with it..
I could see the oil had come through - past the seal - not around it..
Small screwdriver - popped out the spring no tension on it..
Re-set the spring tension - if this dont work i give up ..
Thought you may like this suggestion Dave..
