Turbo noise and lack of boost

Turbo has broke, looks like bearings worn out impellar is touching the side of housing creating squeal, but impeller has fins missing. Where have they gone.

I would also be looking for what possibly entered the turbo to cause the damage before fitting a replacement unit.

Is it not possible that bearing failiure (due to oil starvation proberably) caused the compressor to catch on the casing and shatter off sending bits into the intercooler?

Im no expert, but even a slight nudge of the hot turbine/compressor onto the stationary walls must put a huge force on the parts
