could be that the chassis was already manufactured 1990, but sold 1993?
me and my mates owned or still own around 15sylvas..and the number after the S was always indicating the year of the chassis built, consequitively all
those cars have been registered / passed SVA near the chassis-manufacturing date....which is vice-versa another prove that the number indicates the
year of manufacturing...

Seems it was destined not to be a road car...
I was made an offer that I couldn't refuse, so the car has been sold for track / hill climb use. Think it's the first time I've
ever made money on a kit car!
He's sticking a Duratec in it, so the Pinto is being left with me. That'll be coming to a 'For Sale' ad near you soon! Just
need to determine the spec.
I'd have another (S/IVA'd) Sylva / Raw Striker at the right price if anyone has one going...

as said above, the first numbers after S or SS or SP indicate the chassis built year.
would it be possible that the number starts with S81, as i came across a copy of some reg-documents showing such a number (not sure if the doc isnt
false)
this would indicate a chassis built 1981, even sylva wasnt existing....strange, isnt it?

???
Have you read through this thread (particularly your prior input)!?
No... it isn't possible that it started S81. It started S99. I've already made that clear to you (and more than once)!

yout got me wrong.
my post was not related to your car / your number!!
my post was related to a different car:
woudl it be generally possible to have a sylva striker chassis starting with s81?
