Reverse......
Hello everyone and anyone...
I have a westfeild with a fireblade engine. Is there any way of getting a reverse. Apart from spending £1000 on the gear box bit.
Has anyone found a way of cheating this.
I would love to know....
Regards Carl....

One or two purchasable options for electric reversers.
AB Performance do/did one.
Do a search on here...

Russ Bost does a fairly reasonable priced one.

I would think you could modify a starter motor ad an electric reverse. Hasn't anyone done this, I would be surprised if not.

The Quaife reversing gear box doesn't cost nearly that much and works very well.

Ask bobC - he's done it.
Cheers

Note to all: I really don't know when to leave well alone. I tried to get clever with the mods, then when they gave me a lifeline to see the
error of my ways, I tried to incite more trouble via u2u. So now I'm banned, never to return again. They should have done it years ago!

I've seen some homemade bec projects that use a minimoto engine for reverse, not sure if it would be road legal though...
