SVA Ready MNR (hopefully!)

Well after 12 weeks since I got the kit I think she is finally finished, please have a look through the usual pics and let me know if I have missed anything.

I know that I still need to sort the steering wheel and also the rear harness mounts, but is there anything else I have missed

12 Weeks!! Crikey!

I love the centre console, looks great!

I presume a wonky indicator isn't a fail - though make sure it doesn't look 'too temporary'.

Nice colour too btw

Hi dave, looks good even in its SVA trim. Seat belts are at the wrong angle unless you have adequate flooring to secure them with or put around side of seat. Are reflectors secure and above 350mm? Pipe lagging wont do on dash bar, if thats what it is as long as its radiused and blunt will be ok. How dense is foam around clock? Instructor said mine had to be dense as a pencil rubber but depends on how much is exempt from the 127mm allowance from steering wheel edge. Take some rubber u trim if you need to glue it on the corners. Never came up in mine but handbrake may need a gaitor. How did your emissions testing go?
All the best with the test.
Adam

Thanks for the replies, some other bits to look at

Adam - I think the emissions are OK now I did melt his analyser probe!!!! At what revs do they check the fast idle levels

My clock cover is quite dense, but the one I was going to use didn't arrive in the post so it is a last minute cover - hopefully it will be OK

The payback I will have to give to my Mrs will keep me busy for a lot longer than 12 weeks - but will try and get up to see you in the car IF it passes

Funny you should mention that, after trying to sort the emissions today it is already badly pitted and was going to be my reason to buy some carbon stone guards

I would have said that the seat belt mounts look a bit low were they attach behind the seats.
