Diff Clunk
It's probably been posted lots of times, but my diff is clunking a bit when you initially take up bite on the clutch, and when rolling slowly,
is there anything i can do?
Or is it just a case of use it till it breaks, then put another one in?
Also if it breaks what will it do while i'm driving???
Speed has never killed anyone. Suddenly becoming stationary... that's what
gets you.

I have seen this posting many times, I too was concerned when I had mine on jacks checking the speedo operation. The clonking and banging on the diff
and prop etc were horrible, but I was told this was quite normal especially BEC,s. Barry

It is "common" in becs not "normal" lol The pinion should have very little or no play in it when engaging the crownwheel if
set up properly.

Most (even new) diffs do this, just in a nice cosy insulated tin top you cannot hear it. In a raucous se7en, with the diff 9" from you bumhole
its a different story.
If you can keep you head, whilst all others around you are losing theirs, you are not fully aware of the situation
