Winter mods

OK guys,
Velocity XT with a mildly modified 1600 crossflow(711 block, engine rebuilt 2 years ago, Burton A2 cam, Lumenition fitted this year, twin Dellorto 40s stripped and rebuilt with new jets this year, lightened flywheel, new water pump this year).
Car comes off the road after a sprint on the 4th October and needs to be up and going again by mid March. I'm thinking the current engine is what 110ish bhp (or am I dreaming)and I'd like more for next season, don't really want to spend any more on the crossflow, so a list of questions.
1. What the crossflow worth if I sell it.
2. What could I replace it with for a reasonable (Locost type) budget, I know that partly depends on what the crossflow could sell for (hands up here I'm not the worlds best mechanic either so a bit of a list of what would be involved would be nice).
3. Forget engine change, sell car and buy another, what's the Velocity worth as is.
Over to the panel.
John

How easy (cost and effort wise) are Zetecs to squeeze more power out of as and when necessary. Might sound like a muppet question to some of you guys but I am the man who lost half a pint of blood taking off a cable tie!

ST170 zetec out of a Focus, mine has ZX9R carbs on it and put out 167bhp on the rollers recently.
Carbs still need setting up as main jet is too small so I expect anther 5~10 bhp when its done.

I take it that is at the wheels?

As a comparison what did your old engine get?

The head spec (and I'm reading from the build history)
Supplied by AES Engineering
Polished ports
Slightly bigger valves
2 angle valve seats
