Jack
Has anyone found a suitable jack for a locost. I know some like the mini's mount in a hole and it wouldnt be too hard to drill a few holes in
the underside of the chassis for the jack to mount.
Would be useful to have a compact jack onboard in case of punctures etc. Just wondered if anyone is using a certain one?
Thanks
Chris

Scissor jack.
I got one from the scrapyard and cut the locating peg off the top so it will go under any flat bit of the car. It has a bit of a u shape so it locates
round the tubes and you don't need the big handle, it turns with a screwdriver.
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Likewise!
I have a small scissor jack, possibly from a MK1 or 2 Golf. It's small enough to fit under the chassis and should be easy enough to accomodate
in the boot space.
Cheers

I have been using a scissor jack as well as my trolley jack while building, but have just found a mk4 escort jack is just right.
It folds down small and has its own built in handle,it also gets under the car easier too.

I have a double scissor jack from an Audi A2, it's TINY. Only 7" long, 3" high and 1 1/2" wide. I will try to post a picky
sometime

I havent got a spare wheel so not much point in having a jack.
But I do have a can of that foam stuff and an RAC card
I'm sure I've got one, just don't know where I've put it
