Where to get new windscreen glass cut in Spalding area
Hi All
When I fitted my screen last year I managed to crack it. This hasn't bothered me too much but decided I really should get it replaced.
Does anyone know anywhere local that can cut me a new screen? Preferably with the correct marking and not costing £300 like one place I spoke to last
year quoted (Old landrover defender screen cut to size!)
I am in Spalding in Lincolnshire. I know of places about 100 miles away but don't fancy taking 2 trips to drop off the frame and pick it up
again at that distance! If no-one knows anywhere local I might have to go the long distance route.

There is no replacement for displacement...

If you can make do without markings your local glass cutting place should be able to make one for you - they are usually 6mm laminated glass. I got
one done to fit my Caterham screen which is 4mm laminated for £35. All the auto places were quoting hundreds.
