I have a dilemma

Hi all
My Vectra C sri has 215-50 -17 tyres fitted and i need new ones But i can get 225-45-17 tyres for the same price
so if it was you what size tyres would you buy /fit and why ?
IE Better handling etc

Would stick with the 215/50 myself. The 45s would make the ride even harder and the extra width on the front might cause it to tramline a bit more..... and the wider lower profile tyres will be even crapper in the snow, if it arrives !!

I would stick with 215.

No rubbing, taller wall may increase grip more than width and ride quality
