MX5 for sale

A friend of mine has an MX5 for sale, in need of work to pass MOT, hence my idea that it might be useful as a donor for an MX5 based kit. Details below, drop me a pm for contact details:

Mazda MX-5 1.8 1995, £375

Tax – 31/08/2012, MoT 29/01/2012

169000 miles (77k done commuting over the last 3.5 years).

Good bits:
1. Serviced regularly. Folder full of bills and receipts.
2. Cambelt, pulleys and water pump done at ~144k miles.
3. New rear tyres at ~155k miles.
4. Private plate (MAZ ****)

Not so good bits:
1. List from my local garage from the pre-MoT check:
a. No reg. lights rear
b. Off side front anti-roll bar drop link
c. Corrosion: Near side rear brake pipe corroded, Near side rear floor to sill corroded, Near side rear outer sill corroded, Off side and near side rear inner wings, Near side front floor corroded
d. Front brakes fluctuation
e. No reserve travel
2. Other
a. Tatty bodywork
b. Roof – although it's not 100% watertight it's resisting rain fairly well

Currently sitting on Bilstein dampers which are available at extra cost of £50. Otherwise will be on standard dampers. Note that boot-rack from the photo is not included.

Can be viewed in Leicester throughout the week or Gaydon (Warwickshire) Monday-Friday.
