Fixed rate flasher relay
Hi guys,
I bought one of these for my indicators and hazard but although its a fixed rate, it's still too fast.
I have rear bulbs, front bulbs, and side repeater led.
Any idea why my rate would still be too fast?

Most relays require 21 + 21 + 5w loading to flash at the correct rate.
My buddies Stylus had the same overspeed problem as it only had 21 + 5 + 5 each side, so we fitted a 10 ohm resistor to each side, problem solved.
I'll be in the garage dear!

I seem to recall the figure, 60-120 flashes per min, so quite a big variance.

60 - 120 flash per minute as above is the required standard for IVA.

What bulbs are you running? -- ie; type & wattage; front, rear & repeater ?

That flasher is designed for LED's and no resistor is required.
What flash rate is it going at? It's specified as 90 per minute +/- 10%
