MoT on the 205 today

Sent the old girl off for an MoT today.

Neighbour runs a garage and took her off this morning chuckling at the lack of PAS, the ON/OFF throttle response and arthritic wipers

Fingers crossed she gets another year without any major issues!

Just got home to find an MOT certificate on the passenger seat

Advisories on handbrake and rear pads only. Off for a drive to celebrate.

I hope this one is having a better life than the last one, I seem to remember seeing pictures of it upside down in the dim and distant past!

Not me sir, although I do recall the one you're thinking of...and knowing how flimsy they are, thinking he was rather lucky!

I miss my 205 gti,... 1.6, great fun and practical too, but rusting rapidly and sold to someone with more time than me

Hope it's still on the road,.. somewhere in Scotland,...
