Bluecol 2 year antifreeze best before date
I have just ordered and received some Bluecol 2 year protection antifreeze, but noticed a printed number on the back, and remembered that antifreeze
has a shelf life, does this date shown (14/10/11) mean it's out of date?
Thanks

It only has a shelf life once it is in the cooling system, the date will be the manufacture date.

I bought 2000litres of antifreeze (for work) and questioned the dates on the drums and got told the same. The date is the date the product was put in
the drum. It has no defined shelf-life.

If it's the 'old' school silicated blue stuff, nitrite based inhibitors, then it's shelf life is pretty indefinite.
