Fuel rail plumbing
I fancy connecting up my new fuel rail at just one end. I thought that if I fit the high pressure feed pipe to the bulkhead and put in a T piece, one
arm of which would go to the rail and the other to the pressure regulator and then back to the tank this should work fine. I have a swirl pot so
don't expect any air coming through
Why I hear you ask. Because I think it would work just as well as the standard method and it would be fun looking at peoples puzzled faces when I have
the bonnet off at shows and just because it would be different and I could save the weight of 2 feet of fuel hose! (Not serious about the weight
saving!)

Better still put the reg in the boot and save the weight of the return line.
Works fine on my setup and I think some modern cars work that way now.

My reg is in the boot, you only need 1 fuel line then.
Made my own reg by modifying a zetec fuel rail, very Locost

Excellent. In the boot it is, or will be.
Just had a thought. Fuel vapourisation. Might be a problem.

Just drive faster! It won't have enough time in the rail to heat up that way!
