Just wanted to share pics of my roll cage

Hey folks,

Just thought I'll share some pics of my roll cage with you.
I built it as the base of the frame rather than adding it to a finished frame.

It is perfectly race legal here in USA in the class where I'll be competing.
The only thing missing are the two rear legs which will be added after the rear structure is in.

The cage is made out of 1.5"x0.095" DOM tube (seamless).
Mounting plates are 1/8" thick.
The weight as pictured is ~45 Kg.

Me and a neighbour weigh the cage.
The test was repeated to verify consistent results despite low tech set-up .

I wish locost races existed in the US like you guys in the UK have them, all locost races.
Here my competition is going to be anything from Evos to Vipers, kinda scary...
These things weigh 2-3 times more... oh well, at least I'll get the bragging right of kicking ass of some expensive machinery
