Sponsorship Logos?
SALAD - 8/4/10 at 06:35 PM

Are sponsorship logos permitted in club motorsport? Sprints, hillclimbs, circuit racing etc.
CTCC, BARC etc etc

I read that the Endurance Road Rally Championship does not allow them so I wanted to know about other diciplines.

750 MC allow sponsors logos on the car but they have a rule on where the 750 MC logo's go and the championship sponsors stickers go.
We don't get a lot of sponsorship but are grateful for what we do get.

I am currently putting together a proposal suggesting that the museum I work for enter into live motorsport.
The idea is that one heavily logoed car competes in various motorsport diciplines to promote the company and show we are about enjoying cars MOVING and not just preserving them.

The National Motor Museum in Beaulieu

Yes.
You can do the entire car if you like - you'll also be required to add on any championship sponsors stickers too, though these are normally no more than around A5 sized.

Excellent

Check with the championship organisers, I beleive a few of the classic clubs have limitations on sponsor decals to try and keep close to "back in the day". Get your flat cap & sports jacket ready.
