what options are therefore racing the Fury at Mondello, i.e. what clubs run races that the fury would fit into??? Its just for a 1 off trip over there.

Hi Austen

Give either alister667 or Gixermark a U2U. They both race and Mark i think organises there equivalent of our RGB.

Cheers Matt

There nothing really suitable in Mondello park only libre class which basically is open to anything from single seaters to kit car etc... This class is basically all single seaters so as regard getting a race with a kit car unfortunately you be left on your own doing laps ... As there some extremely quick single seaters.
The boys up north in kirkstown run a bike engine series which I think is limited to 1000cc bike engines ..
Otherwise there's the hills . Ie hillclimbing on public roads which is held all around the country ... A little different than the track as surfaces can't get very bumpy .. So maybe a different set up needed. There is one other option and that's time attack in Mondello which is new this year for kit cars .. So don't really know much yet ... If ya need any more info give me a shout ... Myself and ajw are build our Mks for the hills really ...

Mmm, time attack maybe an option but wanted circuit racing really. Was thinking of pheonix park, but its cancelled this year.

Hi mate,

we are running a race at mondello for our Ni7's race series on the 8th of May, we run pretty much RGB regs. but we do not allow fury's into the series, only 7 type cars with 7 type bodywork.

What engine are you running?

I love mondello as a circuit, ran there last year and it was the highlight of my season.

Sorry but we have a 929cc limit, our guys mostly run 919/929 blades and ZX9R engines.

If you wanted you could come to kirkistown for a round but you would be in with Roadsport A Class, which is mostly dominated by s2000 engined 7's, 16v Vauxhalls and busa powered machines.

but you would be on a split grid with our class.

Phoenix park is not likely this year either as it extremely expensive to run and without sponsorship it just doesn't have the funds to go ahead.... And in the current climate a good sponsor is just impossible to find
