Has Oulton Park circuit been dropped, I always look forward to a 750 meeting. Perhaps the cost has gone up.

MK9R - 29/12/11 at 03:44 PM

Not all circuits are visited every year, oulton has been on the 750 calander for the past 2 years, but wasn't on it in 2009. Anglesey is back on this year, it was left out last year. Pembrey is also missing this year. It also looks like the club has tried to decrease thhe number of meets, but keep races the same, I.e more double header, I assume to keep costs down and maybe icrease entries. I know RGB enteries suffer for single race meets.

I shall try to make the Anglesey meeting if I can. Thanks.

Just had a reply regarding Allcomers:

Sadly, the Directors of the club decided to abandon Allcomers this year. Hope fully it will come back in the future.

Well that's annoyed me, considering it makes the whole weekend seem better value having allcomers!!

MK9R - 1/1/12 at 08:01 PM

That is a shame, i enjoyed doing a few of those, although with all the double header weekends not sure how many i would have done this year

steveiow - 1/1/12 at 08:05 PM

As I just posted on the 750MC forum, its probably a result of consolidating the number of race weekends.

I suspected that it would be something like that to help with costs. Although allcomers was always well subscribed, unlike some of the formulas that must be carried by the club and more heavilly subscribed series.
