Hi Ernie

I can't help with a local doctor (mine was £30 last year!) but there is a way of only needing a medical every other year if you're as old as me and need an annual one! Your medical is valid for a year, so if you have it now, it is valid until this time next year so you can apply for next year's licence in January using this year's medical.
Regards

Wyn

Ive use these for my HGV and PCV medical, its more or less the same as a Race Licence medical.

I do them but I'm in Swansea. Pity, just come back from 3 days in Croydon!

I know a very friendly one in NW6 who would do one for free for a fellow LCBer

Really? I'd have thought a racing medical would have been a bit more stringent... I'm pretty fat and rather unhealthy and passed that

No, HGV/PSV medical takes much longer and is about 12 sides of A4, race licence is less than a full side of A4
