This is my buddy last weekend. We race in China, he has a Caterham that just had an R1 fitted (was previously a fireblade),I'm running an MNR
with an R1. We race in an open class that includes Mitsubishi EVO's, Nissan GTRs, Atoms, Elises etc. I nearly got wiped out by an EVO in T4 on
the first lap.
My mate's rear end spat itself out and took out the fuel tank.
He escaped without injury, however his overalls have very large brown marks on the inside, not from fire.
We are all installing fuel cells before the next race.

Definitely not the sort of area that you want to maintain "low cost"
I am running an emerald ECU, which will cut the fuel pump if it doesnt detect a cranking signal, which is another good measure.

Read the title and was thinking 'oh no, not another hydrogen pushing mess' but no, your right, there is a very lot to be said for it. For
road use, autotesting, and one trackday a year, with a very tight budget, ive not really seriously considered it, but for a race car or a car I was
going to be trackdaying a lot, i would be all over it.
