What lb springs are you all going for for racing 1300GT's e.g. 300 front 200 rear?
this would be helpful cheers.

As a first go try 300s on the front and 150s on the rear - wont be right (are you a fat b'stard?, how do you drive the car?, how well does your suspension/dampers work etc etc etc and I'm in NO way a suspension expert btw ) but it will be close enough to get you going in a proper type stylee.

Cheers

I learned one thing about springs this weekend at Donnington:

stiff springs + Novice racer = Spin on the 4th practice lap.....

Start soft, move up when you have the skill and experience to drive a stiffer setup. I tested at Combe, my local track which I know well and thought the setup was fine, then I got to Donnington which I have only done 1 track day several years ago and found that the car was a little twitchy.....Thankfully Darrell Beckwith is skilled enough to avoid a spinning novice at the exit to Redgate.....

...and at the esses, and at the Old Hairpin and at Coppice.

In fact he must have thought i had it in for him or something.

4 spins in one day - shameful.
Had a stiff talk with myself though and there were none on sunday. Just a fuelling problem that dropped me 14 places. Aaarrgh!
