dubstar_04 - 8/10/08 at 11:36 AM

I once read in the CKC magazine that there was a pack that you can buy from the MSA? with all the relavent information for applying for a racing license, doctors check up, and a track test.

Does anyone know where I can find such a pack?

With xmas round the corner it might be a good time to start leaving leaflets hanging around for the mrs!!

Medical? Aw cr@p, hope it doesn't keep a (moderately) fat bloke out!

for your medical try motor racing medics 01293822036. they are at most motorsport shows and charge £67 plus vat. cheaper if you are 750 club member. London motorsport show at brands 22/23 nov you can do it all at one go including ards test, but this may be a bit to short notice for you

Sounds like the taxi one I did, made sure I had 2 eyes and 2 legs and could read the form I was filling in. Then a quick test for diabetes..

Hi just thought i would chip in with reference to diabetes just in case any one with the condition was looking. They are allowed to race with the condition with either type 1 or type 2 condition. Just has to be well controlled and you need to have a consultation with a MSA doctor as well as the usual medical.

Happy to say i have been racing with the condition for a number of years whilst being insulin controlled with injections.

Cheers Matt
