Post sva Power commander map?

Now the Motaleira has a map that passes sva emissions (thanks to Taylor R1) , my mind is moving on to creating a proper map for road use.
I have an innovate XD-16 gauge to tune from, so where do I start?
The sva map has the lambda at 14:1 at idle and 3000 rpm for the emissions test and slightly richer everywhere else.
I hear different things but I have heard that 15:1 is better for bike engines, but is this true?
Should I be aiming for a slightly richer map or aiming for the "perfect" 14:1 lambda?
I'm worried about running too lean and damaging the engine. Will the current sva map damage my engine long term?

Cheers Martin

Your SVA map should be 14.7:1, For best horsepower you should aim a bit richer, around 13.5:1. Of course you will consume a bit more, that's where the difficulty in mapping comes in: to also have a bit of fuel efficiency you want to run leaner when you're just cruising and don't need the power.
Anyway, start off at 13.5:1 and take it from there.
