DC jumps Top Gear sinking ship for Channel 4
britishtrident - 12/1/16 at 06:00 PM

DC is to front the Channel 4 F1 coverage, BBC's reborn Top Gear seems to be about to sink without trace.

Good news for F1 fans , not the halcyon days of the Brundle-Coulthard dream team but the best free to air could hope for.

Not surprising really, DC has a major share in the Company C4 is going to be using to produce the footage. Rumours have it that EJ could well be joining him.

Not IMO. DC is a dire commentator who i gave benefit of doubt in early bbc days but he just hasnt got gift of gab that brundle has. Sky saw this hence why he wasnt taken over to them.
I was hoping this would be a chance to loose him and EJ. Jurt hope 4 find someone as good as edwards to pick up slack.

Says Who?

Chris Evans was talking about it debuting in May only this morning on Radio 2, I would tend to believe him over yourself.

Edit, I do agree on the Brundle/Coulthard team, they were second only to the Walker/Brundle team.

I hope it all sinks, its a dire programme , so 1990's and out of date,

I have my doubts about the new top gear, because I think Chris Evans is too much of a limelight hogging, control freak.

But I'm willing to give it the benefit of the doubt to begin with, as I was getting very bored of it in its current format.

If Chris Evans gives the other presenters a fair chance, it could be interesting.

Time will tell...

Inclined to agree with that, and he gave some Audi R8 thing 5 stars in the Mail on Sunday so at least he'll be as biased on german shite, and just as wrong as Clarkson was.
