Yep that definitely looks like me Nice photos, hope you enjoyed the incident packed races!

Ended up 4th in both races (1st in class) so was a happy bunny at the end of the day.

I'm sure having correctly calibrated dampers is helping the corner speed - thanks Matt!

Matt C - The yellow Tiger has a GSXR1100 engine in it.

At last a mention in dispaches, it was only because on the 1st lap of Saturdays race an ambitious move by someone ripped my offside rear tyre to shreds and I was on full tread tyres at the rear. What with a loose plug lead in practice meant a back of grid start. But wat great fun

Hi the camcorders are the verry cheap mustek and simalar ones. We have about 6-7 between us and ussually 99% reliable.

Can be brought for £30ish from ebay then just need a memory card. The price makes them almost disposable should they get wiped out on circuit.

Progers well done that man. I suspect that the driver may have somthing to do with the performance also.

cheers matt

Nice tight racing as always guys. You guys play with weight penalties or is it that close just by the rules?
Man, I wish we had racing like that here

Hi C10CoryM. There is a level playingfield with the weight as in all cars whith driver have a minimum weight of 615 Kg. There is no success balast added.

The close racing comes from the lower power of only 90bhp. This means that smooth driving and slipstreaming play a big part. And with 60+ registerd drivers heat's and final's you are almost guarenteed a good race ( Two per round if doing heat and final ) with other drivers wherever you are in the field. And means that even a complete novice will be having some good races and learning how to race and how to defend whilst making his way up the grid.

And is all part off what makes it one of if not the best circiuit racing formula's in the uk.

Hopfully with other there will continue to be some verry good footage of the racing from the remaining season.

All the formula is lacking at the moment is a sponsor for the formula. 3.5 - 4.5k would secure a main title sponsorship deal with the club for the locost formula.

cheers matt

Cool. I had noticed how important the slip-stream/drafting is . Makes it pretty interesting. Definitely one of the best racing classes I have seen in a few years. Please keep posting videos.

Cheers.

Hi Matt

I have been enjoying the footage too. Please keep it coming.

I was wondering how you mount the cameras to the roll bar to extend their life.

Do you have any pics of the camera mounting brackets?

Thanks Sonja
