Technical Meeting feedback for locost racers
Gents/ladies,
I attended my first Technical meeting yesterday and discussion points are as follows.
1) Scutineers will be looking for more protective foam padding around roll cages. This will be viewed as a MUST COMPLY.
I intend to liase with scruts at mallory to find the perfect example of what they require.
2)Question over sponsorship money (Demon Tweeks)...Unspent sponsor ship will be allocated to racers in order of finishing positions after 750 have
taken administration costs. Dont get excited guys we are talking a few pounds here!, but better than nothing at all so keep your stickers on the cars
please.
3) Robin will review future double header single day meetings to allow more time between each race, as this was a concern raised at Snetterton.
4)Yokohama A539 are (for the foreseeable future) the tyre for us to continue using. 750 have agreed to closly monitor to allow sufficient time to find
replacemant should the need arise.
5)I would like your opinions on using 1 type of gearbox and 1 type of Diff in an attempt to even the cars and reduce costs. So the proposal (and this
is merely a feedback type proposal)is for the type 9 to be used in conjunction with the 4.1 diff.....Thoughts please.
