advice on clutch useage

Hi gents, sorry if this is a stupid question but what's the best way to use a clutch on a bec? I know you need it to get into first and to come down the box but what if I'm just bobbing round town and not giving it some beans is it better to use the clutch to change up then? Also is it not kinder to the box if you use the clutch all the time or does this wear out the clutch? Thanks for your advice! I'm a newbie

Just drive it how you feel is the best for you and the car.

A lot of people that have never had bikes will continue to use the clutch long after they are comfortable with the car.

Other people that have/had fast bikes tend to not bother because they know how efficiently and appropriately a bike gearbox will change gear without the use of the clutch.

Much kinder on the dogs if you use the clutch in normal driving. It does not need much of a clutch push between shifts.
For clutchless up-shifts it is best to have an ignition interrupter installed.
For cluchless downshifts it is best to have a throttle blipper installed.
Typically units such as the Trickshifter.

Or learn to blip and chop the throttle yourself using your right foot
