Locost rep Mallory Park 05-04-09 Feedback.
Firstly congratulations to Dave B, Scott, and Rob P, for their fantastic 1, 2 and 3, by all accounts anyone of 6 could have snatched victory which was
contested in the true spirt of racing. Firm But Fair, with only a slight tap reported, in fact from the feedback received from spectators, scrutineers
and racers was the whole field were incredibly close and separated by the smallest of margins. Thank you to the new committe members for volunteering
your services and the exisiting for re-affirming your status, together with your knowledge and experience the Locost formula will become THE formula
to be a part of. In fact our meeting turned out to be an impromptu drivers gathering, allowing a good mix of views and idea's which shall be
collated into legible minutes and sent to the Committee to ratify before forwarding on to the rest of you. I am very proud to represent you and look
forward to seeing you all at Brands. All the best Andy P

Hi
There was a post regarding the Mallory meeting posted HERE You missed some of the
closest racing in the UK. However you'll get a chance to see it again locally at Donington on Sept 20th. Also there will be a rather large
gathering of locost racers and clubs at Silverstone on Aug 22nd and 23rd. More details to come from Pointy ^^^ soon.
Cheers Matt

I saw it!
I love watching the old 750 formula cars but the closeness of the locost racing was stunning. 3 abreast down the main straight lap after lap. The
front group was huge, then a small gap and a second group and so on.
Then their was the bike engine race where the favourite gave everyone a 1/4 lap head start due to a small stalling issue. He went on to win it (he
should have been in a class of his own!)
Excellent afternoon out (would have been a day but i forgot to check what time the racing started and watched the GP).
