LSD Diffs
Hi,
I believe I have a 3.62 LSD from an Escort Cossie fitted to my car, however, the weekend before last it packed up on us during a trackday. We've
dropped the diff from the car now and I've not had a chance to look at the numbers on the casing to see exactly what it is.
Does anybody know the best way forward regarding diffs as it seems quite expensive to get them refurb'd. Do people generally do an exchange with
them or are people now buying other diffs?
Any advice people can give will be appreciated as I'm not too sure on which way to go. The car as a 919 Blade engine in it and I'm running
15 inch wheels. The 3.62 seemed good for the road but at the track I go to it's getting its arse kicked by other kitcars doing 130+.

The 3.6 and 3.9 diffs are easy to come by, the 3.38 and 3.14 are more rare and don't come with LSD.
You need a 3.38 or3.14 then need to fit LSD.
You can fit the LSD to a 3.38 or 3.14
You can fit the crown wheel and pinion to a LSD but it all costs money. Andy Bates at AB performance gets diffs rebuilt give him a call
