carb fixing and any help welcome in swindon
dear all
I am going to try my hand again at the racing this year fingers crossed
2 problems
1. Need to get the car up to current race regs which requires;-
a. add in diagonal braces it never had
b. do the fuel pipe mod - can anyone help ie sell me all the bits as i remember reading so many options of how to do it
c. the dates rubbed off my extinguisher so i need to get that checked and redone.
d. anything else i need to do since 2008
I know dave boucher but is there anyone else in the swindon area that might like to come around and give moral support or just laugh
2. I have the huge old cream and brown motorhome with the 2 mad kids and wife
The old girl hasnt moved in 2 years (motorhome that is) and need to get it going again
Any offers to help play with an old american beast (again camper not wife) is very welcome she is behind the karting centre in wroughton
I have taken out the old batteries and they are on charge but dont hold out much hope got to 11v seem to be struggling past that.
My worry is the brakes any experts on american brakes
Any comments, advice, contacts welcome
Cheers
Chris

I have had a couple of Yank cars and did some work on the brakes of a camper (Winibago) and they are easy enough to work on. I used to get the bits
for my Chevy Blazer K5 from a company near chertsey and they werent very expensive.
Regards
Bob
