lost fuel filler cap at Silverstone 750 meet
Hi,
Just wondered if any that went to Silverstone 750 club meet a few weeks back picked up an alloy screw filler cap from the paddock?
I drove out of garage 9C at the end of the day and assume it fell off the rear of the car pretty soon after...

You might be able to save me, I hope! The tank was from a Stuart Taylor chassis originally, and the tank neck inside diameter is 38mm or 1.5 inch. The
outside diameter of the thread is about 44.4mm. I took a photo of the thread next to a ruler to give some indication of threads per centimetre.
I'd be happy to pay 10 quid plus postage if you think you have a lid to fit. Thanks, Keith
