Westfield narrow chassis dimensions

Does anyone have any dimensions of narrow body westfield chassis, specifically the engine bay?

My own narrow body is in long term storage 200 miles away so can't currently measure it up, so I phoned westfield but they don't have any dimensions available for the narrow body as it's been out of production 20 years. So then I logged onto westfeild forum but have to join WSCC to participate (I was in it once, £30 for three pamphlets!)

Most important measurement is width of engine bay at end of nose cone, and also distance of steering column from car centreline at pedal box.

Thanks!

Thanks. The engine (lotus) I want to fit protrudes 350mm from the centreline so needs 700mm minimum at end if nosecone. Can I take photo of it and mark the measurements on it?

Thanks!

23" across front of bay to inside of rails
30" across rear of bay to inside of rails
Steering column starts 10" from centreline

Hope this helps,
Nick

The widest point at the rear is only 760mm. 700mm width is only about 200mm forward of that. So unless the Lotus engine is very compact at 200mm length then I'd say NO it won't fit. Sorry fella

Tbh I've just measured my Haynes chassis and that's only about 60mm wider at the same point so even that's nowhere near wide enough.
